I TELL YOU, NOTHING IS MORE THRILLING AND EXCITING TO DO DURING THE DULL SUMMER’S SUN, THAN WATCHING YOUR FAVOURITE MUSIC ARTIST/BAND SINGING IN THE SAME ROOM AS YOU!

One of the biggest events you should line up for your summer is a concert. A concert of your favourite band, singer, tribute or orchestra, whatever takes your fancy!
I went to go see my idol in a concert, twice in February and it was sensational! The community of all the fans that have that same mutual interest of loving that one person’s songs. It was great! But what put a real damper on things, quite literally, was the weather. It was bitter cold. We waited since morning to get in for the evening (so we could be one of the first to get in as well as buy merchandise without lines and do other activities in the O2). It would have been perfect but the cold was all on our minds, taking over the excitement, making us feel ill. Worse yet, when the concert was over it started to rain, heavily. I’m not saying this summer it’s not going to rain, but the weather has a better chance then and trust me, concerts are amazing, especially if it’s outdoors, under the beautiful rays of the sun! You won’t want to miss it.
Concert tickets run out fast, especially if the person or band you’re planning to see are really famous. Furthermore, there is usually a specific date the tickets come out on, and you would want to get it the second they distribute it to the public.
You should really, check now if there is anyone you would like to see and if there is make a note when they’re selling the tickets and when the actual concert is, hopefully in summer!
Big tip! No matter whether the concert is indoors or out whether it’s cold or hot, bring a lot fluid to drink, you will get tired and dehydrated from all the partying.
Can’t afford to go all big or couldn’t get the tickets in time? Fear not my friend. Try some local gigs they’re a lot cheaper. There are loads and I mean loads of small bands out there, there are even events to get some of these local bands together, why not check them out if there are any near you? You will still have that community feel and the partying, as well as checking out new bands that live near you! Cool right?
So what are you waiting for get your tickets and get psyched for summer!
