In the late wisps of summer 2016, Maria Baker graduated from the University of Bedfordshire with a bachelor’s degree in journalism. Overwhelmed by the outside world, she proceeded to do a myriad of journalism writing with several spectacular publications including but not limited to: writing a feature about being mixed race and the struggles behind such for NR Magazine, a number of reviews for TellyBinge and when the breeze hits and the pucks drop, interviews and writes rather in-depth features about her favourite hockey team the Guildford Flames for Chasing The Puck.

Outside the realm of journalism, Maria enjoys working on many of her writing projects, including her upcoming debuting novel and submitting to various writing competitions by the month! She also enjoys keeping up with the latest games whether that’s on YouTube, Twitch or playing them herself or keeping up with the world on Twitter.
